Früh Kölsch is a traditional German beer hailing from Cologne (Köln). It is a type of Kölsch beer, a style unique to the region. Clear pale gold, small white head, minimal retention. Aroma of sweet malt, fruity berries with an edge of caramel. Taste is the same, fairly clean and crisp although a classic and basic example of the style no doubt as there is not a huge amount to it. Nice mouthfeel, fairly smooth with a zingy carbonation.
